IT, Bakos-Nagy Márta, 2 hét, Málta – Angol nyelvű beszámoló –

I participated in a two-week long course that was aimed at teachers in order to develop teaching methods for using technology in the classroom, thus providing a creative and efficient learning environment for modern-day students. Freely available technology was introduced and worked on during this course.

I worked with a wide range of freeware and online programmes and applications, for instance EdPuzzle, Voki, Learning App, Mindomo (Mindmap), Wix, Storybird, WordArt etc. I designed my own website: https://bakosnagymarta.wixsite.com/mysite

Furthermore, I created a blog and Avatars, Clozed tests, Multiple Choice Tests and Crosswords. I find the TEL – ICT Skills and Technology Enhanced Learning Course of Executive Training Institute, held at St.Julian’s, Malta, to be very useful. I used the interactive whiteboard, as well. I had the opportunity to become familiar with the IT tools and programmes.

In addition, I improved my English in an international environment. I made lots of new friends and colleagues from all over the world. We will keep in touch in the future.

ETI staff helped us a lot by providing useful information about Malta. I visited some famous Maltese attractions, such as the Megalithic Temples, Gozo, Azure Window (Place of it, sorry), Blue Lagoon, Marsaxlokk, National Aquarium in Buggiba, Valetta etc.

I was greatly inspired by the above teaching methods and I am eager to share my experiences with my colleauges and students in the classroom.
